Training

Margie trained at the prestigious Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington DC, a national leader in massage therapy education and research. Her 600+ hour education stressed clinical proficiency, science-based solutions and a deep understanding of massage as a tool to achieve balance in body, mind and spirit.

Ten years in, Margie transformed her practice by layering in a two-year, 750-hour training in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST). This subtle, non-invasive therapy works with the nervous system to gently restore the body’s innate ability to heal.

A life-long learner, Margie’s studies have also included the Trager Approach to Movement Re-education, Active Isolated Stretching, Geriatric massage, Usui and Kundalini Reiki. Margie has recently embarked on another two-year journey, studying NeuroEnergetic Therapy(TM) (NET), harnessing the newly emerging field of Energy Medicine. With roots in several Somatic Therapies and Psychoneuroimmunology, NET helps harmonize the body, mind and spirit to help you be your best self.
